On April 10, 2014, Tom (BA ’15) and Randy (BM ’15, MUPD ’19) met in the Student Government office in the Student Center.

Tom remembers the date exactly because he skipped a seminar that he was supposed to go to that day and needed somewhere to go to pass time until he met a friend for dinner. That friend was in Student Government so they decided to wait in the office until they needed to leave.

The same day, Randy also ended up taking a trip to the Student Government office after class and saw Tom sitting there with his friend. The three of them left the office at the same time, Randy to class and Tom and his friend to dinner.

Tom messaged Randy on Facebook that night, they started dating a week later and are now married with a dog Stella.
