Janet & Jayson

Janet and Jayson met in 1989, when she was a senior and he was a freshman. They worked together at the pool and both lived in Viking Hall. Initially, Janet didn’t really have any interest in Jayson other than as a friend, since they both had other love interests.

Eventually, Janet graduated and went on to work, while Jayson finished college. The two never saw each other again until she decided, after five years, to return to CSU and pursue her Occupational Therapy certification.

To her surprise, she saw Jayson there, still taking classes and helping Wally Morton coach the men’s swim team.

Since he was the only familiar face from her former days at CSU, they started talking and this time around, started dating!

Janet and Jayson got married two years later and have been married with three children for 23 years.
